Notadusta punctata (Linné, 1771)
Length: 11.1mm, Width: 6.4mm, Height: 5.2mm. Scuba, approximately 60 ft, under coral rubble, Hospital Point, Guam. Collected by Bob Abela on 20 February 2005.
Distribution: Widespread throughout the Indo-Pacific.
Habitat: Shallow to at least 80 ft. Found underneath coral rubble by day. At night, they can be spotted just about anywhere on the reef (underneath coral or ledges, along walls, over rubble, etc). Although small, many collectors may easily spot them due to the brightly colored mantle.
Availability: Moderately common on Guam.
Size: Guam specimens are typically between 10 and 15mm.
Comments: The brownish-yellow stain on the teeth varies in intensity.
