Nassarius (Telasco) gaudiosus (Hinds, 1844)
Snorkeling, 2 ft, under rubble and sand, exposed, shallow reef just inshore from the breakers, Adelupe Point, Guam. Collected by Bob Abela on 19 May 2005.
Distribution: Indo-Pacific.
Availability: Uncommon on Guam.
Habitat: Found in pairs, underneath rubble and shallow sand, less than 5 ft, along exposed reefs.
Discussion: Refer to Cernohorsky for comparisons with N. (T.) sufflatus, limnaeiformis, luridus, reevianus. Still some question of identity, especially when comparing with Kay's figure and description.
