Mitra incompta (Lightfoot, 1786)




Length: 74.3mm, Width: 20.3mm, Height: 17.3mm. scuba, ~70 ft, under rubble. Orote Cliffs, Guam. Collected by Bob Abela on 30 January 05.
Distribution: Indo-Pacific
Habitat: Typically along outer reefs, under rubble and sand, at 50 ft or more.
Availability: Not too uncommon.
Size: Guam specimens typically are no larger than 85mm, though they get considerably larger (up to around 110mm).
