Left: Length: 34.7mm, Width: 21.8mm, Height: 15.7mm. Scuba, day, 53 ft, exposed on reef. Right: Length: 33.7 mm, Width: 2037mm, Height: 15.5mm. Scuba, day, 29 ft, under a rock, on red sponge. Both were collected the same day on two seperate dives. Agana Bay, Guam. Collected by Bob Abela on 14 Jun 2004.

Distribution: Widespread throughout the Indo-Pacific.
Habitat: Exposed outer reefs, typically 25 ft or more.
Availability: A rare species on Guam.
Size::
Comments: Guam specimens appear to be the subspecies, B. c. amiges Melvill & Standen, 1904. Heiman places this species within the genus Ovatipsa.
