HARPIDAE

GastropodaPrevious FamilyNext Family Family

There are three confirmed Harpa from Guam. A few dead specimens from Agat may turn out to be Harpa gracilis (closely related to H. armouretta) and, if so, would represent a significant range extension. Although not confirmed through UOG, the OBIS database indicates Morum joelgreenei from Pagan (Northern Marianas) and Morum uchiyamai from Saipan. Collectors have found a few Morum on Guam though which species is not clear.
